Please be sure to check the lost and found rack by the front office. Donations of Lost & Found items will occur over the Thanksgiving Break and again over Winter Break. Thank you!

We Did It!!! PTA Pledge Drive & Membership Goals were exceeded!

We wanted to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all of you for joining our PTA and for donating to our Pledge Drive. Our membership and our Pledge Drive goals were both exceeded which means we will have the funding and parental support for many of the upcoming PTA sponsored school programs and Loma Ridge community events. Go Roadrunners!

Minimum Day - Grades 1-4 dismissed at 1:25 pm

All Kinder Early Day - all kinder students attend from 8:20-11:40 am

Wednesday, November 27th - Friday, November 29th

Thanksgiving Holiday Break - NO SCHOOL

Parenting Resources for Raising Kids with DASH in mind

The Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley has created kid-friendly videos that share research-based insights to guide your kids toward making choices that serve the greater good. Mrs. Marrocco, our Loma Ridge Elementary Resource Counselor, thought these might be helpful tools for parents to use with their children at home. Get Ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday with our Nothing Bundt Cakes November Dine-out!

Our Loma Ridge PTA is happy to partner with Nothing Bundt Cakes to provide your families with the opportunity to enjoy delicious cake during your Thanksgiving holiday vacation while also raising funds for our school. Nothing Bundt Cakes will donate 30% of the sales to Loma Ridge so please consider indulging in some yummy cake this Thanksgiving holiday! Please see the directions below to learn about three options for ordering. ALL ORDERS AND PAYMENTS ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 15th.

Ordering Options:

Fill out the order form (attached to my email) and turn it in at the front office at Loma Ridge.
Place your order over the phone at (714) 258-2253 and reference Loma Ridge Elementary School.
Place your order online at https://order.nothingbundtcakes.com/#/ and in special instructions, reference Loma Ridge Elementary.

Parking Lot Safety

We appreciate your support in keeping our students and parents safe. The drop-off and pick-up of students is improving. As a reminder, please remain in your car when dropping off and picking up your student(s). If you feel that your student requires extra assistance, please park your car in the lot, assist your child and then escort him/her onto campus via the crosswalk. Loma Ridge staff on duty will remind drivers of the procedures for dropping off and picking up students when needed. Please listen to their guidance and understand that they are looking out for the safety of all as well as to maintain an efficient drop-off and pick-up of students. Our priority is to keep you and your children safe on our campus. Thank you in advance for your support!

The Speak Up, We Care initiative connects students and families to IUSD mental health and wellness resources. This year’s themed newsletters - - Link Up, Be Kind, and Be Well - - will provide tips on how you can build your child’s resilience.
