Marcela Moskowitz
Hi! My name is Marcela Gonzalez-Moskowitz and I am excited for the opportunity to represent you in Loma Ridge’s school site council (SSC). As a parent of two children in Loma Ridge, I am excited to help the school any way possible. Prior to Loma Ridge, I served as a member of the Cypress Village SSC and was a member of the PTA executive board. These experiences have taught me what is required to create and operate a great school. It also gave me an appreciation for all the hard work our teachers, admins, and school staff put in each day. If elected a member of the Loma Ridge SSC, I will continue to work and support our school and be a channel of communication, participation, and a voice to our parent community. Together we can make Loma Ridge’s first year a foundation for continued success.
Prashanth Kambal
I am a Software Engineer by profession and I would like to be involved with any software related education that the students will be receiving in school. I would also like to help when possible so they are completely ready for the future. I had a really enjoyable school life and I would like my daughter (and other students) to have the same kind of school life. I would like to understand how kids learn and make sure they enjoy their time in school and also actually learn. I am new to the neighborhood and would love the chance to be involved with school related activities. I enjoy the outdoors and I am hoping the students get to do more outdoor activities.I am pretty objective about things and understand things from a neutral standpoint and hope to help the entire community. I manage a few social groups and that will help me with organizing meetings and keep track of logistics if needed.
Janine Guenard
Hello, I’m Janine Guenard, a mother of two children at Loma Ridge. I have been a part of IUSD as a student, parent, and volunteer. I have 25 years of experience as an elementary school teacher. During this time, I undertook the lead of School Site Council and have been involved on multiple school site councils as both a parent and educator. Through my years of teaching and being involved in school site councils I have gained the knowledge and experience needed to be part of establishing a new School Site Council at Loma Ridge. I am deeply involved in my kids’ education and the community, serving on community boards. I see this as an opportunity to help shape our children’s future success and look forward to serving the families and children at Loma Ridge.
Jimmy Ngo
After graduating from California State University, Fullerton and becoming an Irvine resident in 2001, I pursued my interest as an entrepreneur and have been a business owner since. Through proper planning, budgeting and goal setting, I was able to weather through tough economic hardships and continue to thrive. Now with little ones in the picture, I made it a priority to carve out time to participate in the care, growth, and development of my current and two future Roadrunners. As Executive Vice President of the PTA, I came to understand the importance of supplementing programs for our kids, the capacities of our school, and resources available to bridge the two. I hope with this opportunity I can help fulfill the needs of, and advocate for, our staff and Roadrunners.

Todd recently joined a reputable after-school computer science and coding franchise for kids; Todd enjoys working with students and have served two consecutive years in-classroom volunteering program. With ample of knowledge in computer science and passion for youth Science-education, as a parent representative for Loma Ridge SSC, Todd is looking forward to help our students to be better prepared for the 21st century. Todd Gun lives in Portola Springs, and have 2nd grade twin girls attending Loma Ridge.
Roy Zheng
I am a father of 3 young kids (7,5 and 3 years old) and have long term vested interest in the well being of the new school. Engineer by training, I had years of project management career and am currently senior account manager with Panasonic Avionics overseeing accounts worth millions of dollars. My aspiration to run for the school site council is from my Asian root, which values highly the importance of education. With 40% of Irvine population being Asian, I hope more and more Asians can participate in the community development so that we can contribute with our values & voices.
